About My Work

Hey there, thanks for stopping by! I’m David Mazzeo, a 15-year-old Swift developer from Melbourne, Australia.

My programming skillset begun to develop at the age of 9, where an interest in electronics led me to watch several previous Apple events; including WWDC keynotes. Watching presenters not only unveil new software, but also several ‘learn to code’ programs inspired me to give it a go myself, and after executing my first line of code in Swift Playgrounds, my curiosity grew into a full-blown hobby.

I began to teach myself Swift soon after, and with three years of experience under my belt at the time, I published my first app on the App Store at the age of 12.

Since then, I’ve worked on numerous other projects, including twelve other apps – two of which (‘The Particle Binder’ and recently ‘Interstellar’) were selected as Swift Student Challenge winners – with an end goal of creating apps that change their users’ lives for the better.

I'm experienced in...

  • Swift – AppKit, UIKit, WatchKit, SpriteKit, and more.
  • Graphic Design – Icon, mockup, and asset production in Pixelmator Pro and Photoshop.
  • Python – Bot Writing
  • JavaScript – Extensions & websites.
  • HTML / CSS – Website functionality & design.

I'm still learning, and each new project I take on helps me learn something new about the field. In particular, I'm currently looking to expand my work into other platforms: including Android and Windows.
